Church of the Open Door | Come in to know Christ. Go out to serve Him.
Adult Bible Fellowship

Church of the Open Door offers opportunities for adults to participate
in the study Of the Bible in a smaller group setting. This smaller
group is called an Adult Bible Fellowship or ABF. ABFs are groups
of adults ages 18 years through seniors. Groups vary in size from
10 to 50 persons and meet during the 9:00 am and 10:45 am Sunday
morning times of worship. This allows adults an opportunity
to attend both a worship service and an ABF.

All ABFs have the same two basic goals. First, provide opportunity
for Bible study that stresses personal application of God's Word
to one's daily life. Second, ABF's cultivate genuine fellowship
as participants learn to pray for one another and relationships
grow as each person gets to know others in the group.

Each ABF has a Leader/Teacher and other co-teachers who prepare
and deliver the lesson topic each week. The leader also promotes
discussion and encourages application of the Biblical truths discovered
during the meeting. Study topics are Christ-centered and may be
a study of a book, a character or a topic from the Bible.
Each group is encouraged to meet together at other times as well
for Bible study, social events, times of prayer and also serve
one another in times of need.
