ABFs are an opportunity for adults to participate in the study of the Bible in a smaller group setting. These groups meet at 9:00 a.m., before the Sunday morning worship service, and vary in size from 5 to 40 adults.
All ABFs have the same two basic goals. First, to provide an opportunity for Bible study that stresses personal application of God's Word to one's daily life. Second, to cultivate genuine fellowship as participants learn to pray for one another and develop relationships with others in the group.
Each ABF has at least one leader/teacher who prepares and delivers the lesson topic each week. The leader also promotes discussion and encourages application of the Biblical truths discovered during the meeting. Study topics are Christ-centered and may focus on a spiritual book or a topic/person from the Bible.
Each group is encouraged to meet together at others times for Bible study, social events, and prayer.
