Women's Ministry

The vision of the Women's Ministry is to proclaim Jesus Christ and fulfill His mission by embracing two goals: to encourage women with a sense of belonging to God and each other, and to enable them to become all they are to be in Christ and serve others effectively through His power. (Based on Colossians 1:28, 29)

We, as women living in a fast-paced world, constantly need to be encouraged in our sense of belonging to God. This is achieved through our Bible Studies and prayer times. Throughout the school year, there are daytime studies offered at the church, and there is often a Summer study as well. All studies include fellowship, discussion, and prayer. Childcare is also provided.

We also offer opportunities for service:

• Our Outreach Committee visits, writes notes, telephones, etc.
• The Family Issues Committee supports special needs of families through providing meals and other types of help in times of crisis.
• The Socials and Special Events Committee helps plan special activities of the Women's Ministry as well as church-wide social events such as picnics, Christmas parties, and suppers.
